History
January 1941: Created as one of ten proposed Churchill equipped independent Army Tank Brigades.
May 1943: Became part of 53rd (Welsh)Mixed Infantry Divison. 'Army' dropped from title.
September 1943: Returned to independent status.
September 1944: Became part of 79th Armoured Division.
February 1945: Disbanded.
