34th Tank Brigade
History
December 1941: Created as one of ten proposed Churchill equipped independent Army Tank Brigades.
June 1942: Became part of 1st Mixed Infantry Divison. 'Army' dropped from title.
September 1942: Transferred to and became part of 43rd Mixed Infantry Division.
September 1943: Rturned to independent status.
February 1945: Renamed 34th Armoured Brigade becoming part of 79th Armoured Division.
