World War One Marks at the Factories


Mark I being towed off a war flat for additional work at Foster's factory in Lincoln.
The markings were to give the impression it was a"water tank" destined for Russia.

Built by Foster's of Lincoln, the "Tadpole" Tail Add-on is shown
attached to a Mark IV. The white line shows the outline of the original hull.
