At the north-eastern boundary of Tyne Cot Cemetery, Ieper, West-Vlaanderen, Belgium. The Memorial is faced with panels of Portland stone on which are carved nearly 35,000 names of those who have no known grave.

. ![]() YPRES MENIN GATE MEMORIAL East of Ieper, on the road to Menin, West-Vlaanderen, Belg ium. The site of the Menin Gate was chosen because of the hundreds of thousands of men who passed through it on their way to the battlefields. It commemorates those who died in the Salient before 16 August 1917.

LA FERTE-sous-JOUARRE In the small town after which it is named, Seine-et-Marne, France. The Memorial Register is kept at the Town Hall. The La Ferte-sous-Jouarre Memorial commemorates nearly 4,000 officers and men of the British Expeditionary Force who died in August, September and the early part of October 1914 and who have no known grave.
