    Severely wounded when a 50mm A/T shell hit one of the conical headed bolts

    Wounded, while effecting repairs to his tank's track broken by a mine, by
    enemy aircraft machine-gun fire, Oued Zarga Mountains.

L/Cpl Craig 'A' Squadron
    Suffered a broken left shoulder when the main gun unexpectantly recoiled. It
    was due to a million-to-one chance - a 30mm shell, fired by an attacking
    enemy aircraft, entered gun's barrel causing the loaded 6-pdr HE shell to
    explode, Oued Zarga Mountains.

    Severely wounded, by a flying piece of the track cover, when his tank was hit
    on the starboard side by a shell from a dug-in German Panther turret.
